If you’re on a tight budget and you want a good looking logo designed for under $100, then you’ve come to the right place. For all of my clients that need a logo created, but don’t want to shell out $1000 or more for a professional logo designer, here’s how you can get a great looking logo made for a fraction of the price:

Step 1.

Go to Google Images and do a search for a couple of keywords people would use to find a business like yours and add the word “logo” at the end of it. For example, if you run a Pressure Washing business, then do a search for “pressure washing logo” or “power washing logo”.

Step 2.

When you find one you like, such as the logo above, click on the logo to enlarge it.

Step 3.

Right click on the logo and choose “Copy Image Address” from the drop down menu that appears:

Step 4.

Save that image URL to a word document and add some notes about what you liked about it. Here’s an example:

FAVORITE LOGO #1:
I really like how they used water in the logo, how the font color is blue (like water) and how “Brandon Hahn’s” is written in a handwriting script.

Step 5.

Repeat the process until you have 3-5 logos you like.

Step 6.

Go Fiverr and get this gig and get the Standard $40 logo package if you just need a logo or the $95 logo package if you need a business card template, letterhead and a social media cover for Facebook, Google+, etc.

Step 7.

Share your business name, what your business does and the logos you like and why you like them and BAM, you’re done! The logo maker will email you when he’s done. 9 out of 10 times, the logo is perfect just as it is. If it needs some tweaking, just let him know and he’ll make the alterations.

Important:

Remember that the more you can share with the designer what you like and don’t like, the better your logo will be. If you’re not crystal clear, then he’s going to generate a logo that he thinks you’ll like based off of the limited information you’ve provided him with.

If your business is brand new and doesn’t have an identity at all yet, then be sure to go with the $95 package, as you’ll be needing professional looking business cards and social media covers.

Hope this has been helpful and enables you to get your business identity off on the right foot.

Once you’re website is up and running and you want to your potential customers and clients to be able to find you, feel free to drop us a line at and we’ll get you the online visibility you need.

Cheers,
